Other than being the director of my short, I also was the character designer, storyboard artist and revisionist, animator, and clean-up/color animator.
What inspired this film was my rage about how common the use of generative a.i. is. How it’s being used for scams, politics, how these data centers push people from their homes due to buying out land and pollution, how much of it is in ads, flooding social media, and how it is taking jobs away from many artists, designers, and more. It is a topic I am very passionate about.
It screened at CSULB on December 19th.
