Also goes by, “ScruffianDraws” online, is a character designer and illustrator. As of now she is based in Long Beach California on her way to complete the CSULB Animation pre-production BFA by fall 2026.

Main inspirations for making art is her love of music (mostly punk), the ocean, her heritage, queer themes and expression, nerd/fandom culture, and who can forget, spongebob, the character who kicked started her love of the arts. Making characters is Sav’s favorite thing to do, the whole process really bring her joy; her favorite parts being the expression pages and just the many ideas or shapes you can do for the exploration. She hopes to do more than personal character work but has done editorial illustrations, political cartoons, zines, and competitions, and may have a merch collab with ska punk legends THE AQUABATS coming soon.
